The Beast of Blackwood

The locals say Blackwood Forest is cursed. They say something lives in the oldest part, where the trees grow too thick and the air smells like copper. Nadia doesn't believe them — until the night she gets lost between the pines and finds out the legends got it wrong. The beast isn't dangerous. It's lonely.
